Moving to Uganda!

The staff of Orthodox Africa is excited to announce that Father Silouan, the founder and director of Orthodox Africa, is moving to Kampala, Uganda, permanently to establish St John of Shanghai Orthodox Christian Mission Center in Kampala which will act as the fist ever Orthodox Afric

a headquarters located within the continent. This big step forward will help us further grow our mission on the continent and will lead to the eventual creation of a catechetical school for local clergymen and faithful Orthodox Christians as well as a vocational school for local Orthodox Christians so that they can learn local skills that will help them become a self-sustainable Orthodox Christian community.
